The Employment Team provides specialist advice and advocacy in employment related matters throughout the local area and beyond. We pride ourselves on our personable approach and our ability to provide employees and employers alike with practical, expert advice on the full range of workplace issues.
We have extensive and longstanding experience acting for local authority clients, as well as local, national and global businesses. One of the Team is a part-time Employment Judge and a member of the Attorney General’s Panel, dealing exclusively with complex employment issues for Central Government.
Our Team can provide early advice by way of a conference to look at the merits of a case. We can also draft any of the documentation necessary, whether to further a claim, or respond to it effectively. Some team members can accept instructions directly from businesses and members of the public, and can offer competitive rates to claimants who may have been dismissed or made redundant unfairly and those with hearings at Southampton Employment Tribunal.
Members can also provide employers with bespoke in-house training events. In addition, we regularly host our own Employment Breakfast meetings to discuss the most recent developments in this fast-changing area of law.
